Bryan Hugli, PT was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL. He received a B.S. Degree in Food and Nutrition from Florida State University, and his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine/Institute of Physical Therapy. Bryan has been practicing throughout Statesboro and beyond since 2000. He has worked at the hospitals in Statesboro and Metter then opened Southern Wellness & Rehab in February of 2006. Bryan's emphasis of practice is geared toward orthopedics and pain management. He has also spent considerable time working with adults who have suffered with strokes/neurologic conditions and people with generalized deconditioning /balance disorders.
Stephanie joined our practice in 2011 with a combined total of 22 years of experience in the medical field. She is certified in Medicare and Medicaid coding and billing practices. Stephanie is a native of Richmond Hill, Georgia, and has lived in the Bulloch County area for the past 20 years. Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, and doing activities such as hunting, camping, and golfing!
Ashlee joined Southern Wellness & Rehab in early 2012 and is a GSU alumnus. She has over 15 years of experience in administrative and property management. Born in Atlanta, she has lived in Statesboro for over 21 years. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and kids, relaxing at the beach and watching Georgia Bulldog football!
Julie Costomiris PT, received her BA in Human Development from the University of California, Berkely and her MA in Physical Therapy from Stanford University. She and her family moved to Statesboro from Seattle, Washington, 19 years ago when her hasband began teaching at Georgia Southern.
Julie joined our staff in May, 2016 after working for many years in Home Health Care. Prior to that, she was a member of the rehailitation staff at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. Julie's therapy experience has focued on geriatrics and especially in the care of neurological conditions including stroke, dementia, Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis. She is Certified in Neurodevelopmental Treatment of Adults and Pediatrics (NDTC).
In her free time, Julie and her husband enjoy traveling. When she is at home, she loves to cook and work in her garden.
Mary Martin, PTA
Mary is native to Midwest Ohio, and has always had a passion for Physical Therapy. This passion became even more enduring when Mary’s son was born with Cerebral Palsy. A mother’s love drove her to attend college at South University, located in Savannah Georgia, and earning her an Associate of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant degree. Her education now provides her with the ability to provide her son, and the community of Statesboro with the highest quality of care. Mary focuses her physical therapy continuing education on gait, balance, neuro-reeducation. The desire to constantly improve her abilities as a practicing therapist, motivates her long-term commitment to earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. In Mary’s free time she enjoys spending time with her loving family, shopping and taking on new challenges.
J.J. is a proud Georgia Southern graduate, with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science, and minored in Nutrition and Business Marketing, as well as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. J.J. contributes success to his family and home town of Reidsville, Georgia. When asked to describe himself, he said, “I have a very positive outlook on life, and love to be challenged by it. Among many other things, I seem to spend a large amount of my time dedicated to fitness, education, and the outdoors. I hope to one day have much to offer the world that gives so much to me.”
